With AI agents becoming everyday workplace tools, power efficiency is the next big challenge
AI has moved quickly from novel technology to a routine part of everyday business practices. A 2026 Gallup Poll found that 30% of U.S. employees use AI at work at least a few times a week, up from 11% in 2023.
"We already moved from AI being the second or third approach that an employee tried, to AI being their go-to first approach," says Jason Banta, vice president of global go-to-market compute sales at Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. "Employees are providing more context to AI and are now getting better answers."
