Who owns the intelligence, and who owns the workflow.

Thirteen platforms across eight capabilities, reviewed July 2026. The comparison separates what a platform maintains itself from what it organises through connected sources, because those are different claims and most comparisons blur them.

The eight capabilities, in plain terms

These are the criteria the comparison is built on. If one of them is not a requirement for you, ignore that row.

Technology and market intelligence
Movement across technologies, companies and markets.
Signal and delta monitoring
Noticing that something changed, and how much it moved.
Patent and research intelligence
Patents, families, citations and published science.
Private-company and startup intelligence
Who is emerging, who funded them and what they build.
Enterprise-context interpretation
Reading a development against your own products and priorities.
Startup scouting and evaluation
Finding and comparing providers against a stated requirement.
Pilot and PoC governance
Running pilots with an owner, gates and recorded decisions.
Evidence continuity
The reason a thing was raised surviving into the decision.

How to read it

Publicly promoted capabilities, reviewed July 2026. They vary by plan, deployment, configuration and services. The levels are not one scale. Integration-led sits beside the others rather than below them: it says the capability arrives through connected providers, APIs or your own data, which is a different claim from being weak.

Every platform is strong in the role it was built for.

Thirteen platforms, eight capabilities. Each cell says how central the capability is to that product. Integration-led means it arrives through connected sources, which is not the same as weak.

Pick a capability to see who else treats it as a core product. Open any platform to see what it is built for and where TrakIntel stands beside it.
